Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 28, 2026
CDDI Services LLC, doing business as Barklytic (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operates the Barklytic platform — a SaaS product for pet care facility management. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information in connection with the Barklytic platform and website. Please read it carefully.
1. Who We Are
CDDI Services LLC dba Barklytic
893 Eugene Jernigan Rd., Dunn, NC 28334
hello@barklytic.io
Barklytic is a software platform built for pet care facility operators — boarding kennels, doggie daycares, grooming studios, and training facilities. We are a United States–based company and currently serve customers only in the United States.
2. Two Distinct Data Relationships
Barklytic operates in two different roles depending on whose data is involved. Understanding this distinction matters for how you can exercise your rights.
Facility Operators — We are the Data Controller
When you sign up for Barklytic as a facility operator, CDDI Services LLC is the data controller for the personal information you provide directly to us — your name, email address, billing details, and account credentials. We determine the purposes and means of processing this data, and this Privacy Policy governs it directly.
Pet Owners — We are a Data Processor
When your facility uses Barklytic to manage information about pet owners and their animals, you (the facility) are the data controllerfor that information. CDDI Services LLC acts only as a data processor — we process that data on your behalf, under your instructions, solely to operate the platform. We do not independently use pet owner data for our own purposes.
If you are a pet owner: Questions about how your information is handled by a specific facility should be directed to that facility. We can only respond to data requests from facility operators (our direct customers), not from their end clients.
3. Information We Collect
From Facility Operators (directly):
- ·Account information: your name, email address, business name, and phone number.
- ·Billing information: payment method details processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes.
- ·Support communications: messages and emails you send to us.
- ·Technical and usage data: IP addresses, browser type, session tokens, and platform feature usage logs collected automatically when you use the Service.
On Behalf of Pet Owners (on your facility's instructions):
- ·Pet records: animal names, species, breed, health notes, medication records, and vaccination information.
- ·Owner contact information: names, email addresses, and phone numbers.
- ·Reservation and service history.
- ·Photos and report card media uploaded through the platform.
4. How We Use Information
For facility operator account data, we use it to:
- ·Create and maintain your Barklytic account.
- ·Process subscription payments and send invoices, receipts, and billing notices.
- ·Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- ·Send security alerts, platform updates, and service-related notifications.
- ·Comply with applicable legal obligations.
For pet owner data processed on your facility's behalf, we use it solely to:
- ·Store and retrieve records as directed by your facility.
- ·Operate the Barklytic platform features you use to serve your clients.
- ·We do not use pet owner data for marketing, advertising, product development, or any purpose beyond service delivery.
5. Sub-Processors
We work with the following third-party sub-processors to deliver the Service. Each has been evaluated for data handling practices appropriate to their role.
Stripe
Payment processing for subscription fees. Stripe processes your billing information directly and is PCI-DSS compliant. We do not store full card numbers.
Supabase (Supabase Inc.)
Primary database infrastructure and user authentication. All data is hosted in the United States on AWS us-east-1 (Northern Virginia).
Brevo (formerly Sendinblue)
Transactional and marketing email delivery to facility operators. Brevo is not used for facility-to-pet-owner messaging.
Twilio
SMS messaging for platform notifications sent to facility operators.
Anthropic
AI processing for the Scout AI assistant. Facility and pet data used in AI features is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's API terms prohibit the use of API inputs to train their models. We do not use your data to train any external AI model.
We do not sell personal information to any third party, and we do not share data with any party not listed above except as required by law.
6. Data Location
All customer data is stored in the United States. Our primary database infrastructure is hosted by Supabase on Amazon Web Services in the us-east-1 region (Northern Virginia). We do not currently operate in or transfer data to the European Union, United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction outside the United States.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use only essential, first-party cookies. Specifically:
- ·Session and authentication cookies that keep you logged in during your visit.
- ·A preference cookie that stores your theme selection (light or dark mode).
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. We do not currently run any web analytics services on barklytic.io or within the Barklytic platform. There are no tracking pixels, no behavioral advertising, and no data broker integrations.
8. Data Retention
We retain facility operator account information for as long as your account is active.
When your account is terminated or cancelled:
- ·Your data remains in a suspended state for 90 days, during which you may export it or contact us to reactivate your account.
- ·After 90 days, your account data and all associated facility and pet-owner data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems and backups.
Limited billing records (invoices, payment history) may be retained longer where required by tax or accounting law, for the minimum period required by applicable law.
9. Your Rights
Facility Operators
You have the right to:
- ·Access the personal information we hold about you.
- ·Correct inaccurate account or contact information.
- ·Request deletion of your personal data (subject to the 90-day retention period and any legal obligations).

If you are a pet owner whose information is stored in Barklytic by a facility you do business with, please direct your data requests to that facility. They are the data controller for your information. We will assist the facility in fulfilling your request upon their instruction.
10. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information. Specifically, you have the right to:
- ·Know what categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which it is used.
- ·Know whether your personal information is sold or disclosed to third parties, and to whom. (We do not sell personal information.)
- ·Request access to the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- ·Request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
- ·Receive equal service and pricing whether or not you exercise your CCPA rights.
To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at hello@barklytic.io. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.
11. Children's Privacy
Barklytic is a business software platform for pet care facility operators. It is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at hello@barklytic.io and we will delete it promptly.
12. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- ·TLS 1.2 or higher for all data in transit.
- ·AES-256 encryption for data at rest.
- ·Role-based access controls that limit internal access to customer data.
- ·Regular security reviews of our platform and infrastructure.

13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve or as required by law. We will notify facility operators of material changes by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The current version is always available at barklytic.io/privacy. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of an updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
